DLV Plant Middle East region

DLV Plant has appointed a contact person for the Middle East region in November 2007. Eng. Mohamad Alrasheed is authorised to acquire and develop agricultural projects in the Middle East region.

Eng. Alrasheed graduated from the University of Portland in 1986. Mr. Alrasheed has more than 22 years of experience in greenhouse management. He started his work with a greenhouses management company ALICO from 1986-1990, after which he worked with the Dutch greenhouse management company HORTACO from 1990-1993. In 1993 Mr. Alrasheed started ALRASHEED GREENHOUSES COMPANY, managing 8 Hectares of glass greenhouse in TABUK , Saudi Arabia. Since then the company grew big and now the company manages 80 Hectares of glass greenhouses. Eng. Alrasheed is the Chairman of SAUDI GREENHOUSES MANAGEMENT & MARKETING COMPANY, Vice Chairman of ALQUDRA AGRICULTURE COMPANY in ABU DHABI and a board member of Thimar Marketing Company. Eng. Alrasheed is very active in the agribusiness all over the world, participating in aseminars and workshops. He is well known for organising seminars for the agricultural sector in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
